Recently, Founder Gene Arganese, Vice President Sandra Corn, and Sales Representative Mike Wortell attended the Boxing Hall of Fame’s 28th Annual Banquet of Champions in Ontario, California, where Arganese Cigars was named the “Premier Cigar of Boxing.” Arganese Cigars was honored alongside boxers Larry Holmes, Ricardo “Finito” Lopez, Efren “Alacran” Torres, Alvaro “Yaqui” Lopez, and Gerald McClellan, as well as announcer Steve Albert, referee Joe Cortez, and former fighter and trainer George Benton, all of whom were inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame.

In addition to attending the Banquet of Champions, Gene and Sandy also participated in the Boxing’s Finest Creekside Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 13th, and made an appearance at the Déjà vu Club.
